HISTORY

Founded in 1998, Area Resources for Community and Human Services (ARCHS) is recognized as one of the region’s largest and most impactful funding/philanthropic organizations.

ARCHS is one of 20 Community Partnership organizations serving the state of Missouri. The state-wide partnership concept grew out of a St. Louis-based program started in the early 1990s that was later expanded across the state by Missouri’s Governor and Legislature. These partnerships are coordinated through Missouri’s Family and Community Trust (FACT).

ARCHS has a successful record of leveraging more than $850+ million in public and private resources and collaborating with community leaders and organizations to benefit the region.

ARCHS’ numerous community accolades include five What’s Right with The Region honors and its progress in utilizing the Baldrige Performance Excellence business framework.
