“R.A.W.” – Reentry Awareness Workshop. A Reentry Simulation by Boone County Community Partnership
Description: A simulation led by Missouri ex-offenders who have paid their debt to society and have struggled to return to productive lives to expand knowledge of real issues, barriers, challengers, and difficulties we have created that decrease their chances for success and lead to the decrease in safety of our communities.

“A Separate Roof” - The Value of Scattered Housing Panel Discussion
Description: Scattered, supportive housing for ex-offenders instead of group living my raise the cost, but lowers the recidivism rate significantly. The presenter will describe the advantages and challenges of re-entering in housing within ordinary communities and explain how rental housing is secured and other support is provided by staff and volunteers.

Description: The Missouri Veterans Commission has established a strong partnership with the DOC. This presentation will give an overview of current strategies that are in place for offenders and benefits available to offenders who are veterans. serving in the military.
