ARCHS was honored with the Outstanding Community Partner Award by the Near Southside Employment Coalition (NSEC) at an annual dinner on September 10. ARCHS received the prestigious award for its work with NSEC in helping to train and place unemployed individuals into employment. By placing unemployed individuals with various businesses throughout the area getting them off TANF.
In addition to a great dinner at SqWires Restaurant & Annex, attendees listened to inspirational words from the first women to serve as Commissioner of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights Frankie Freeman.
ARCHS' Directors of Grant Management Services Gail Dickson, Kevin P. Dallas and Sue Haverman accepted the award on ARCHS' behalf.
