Behavioral/Mental Health for K-12 Students and Families

ARCHS' Funding Partner: Missouri Department of Social Services (targeted funding to augment additional funding provided by service delivery partner).

Goal: Provide behavioral health services (crisis intervention, parent training, evaluation, counseling, tutoring, day treatment and more) to support elementary school students and their families. Also provide training to school staffs on how to assess students for behavioral problems and serious emotional disorders and how to make referrals for support.

ARCHS' Service Delivery Partner: Hopewell/People’s Health Centers

Key Results to Date: 238 students received school based behavioral health services. 70 teachers and other school staff participated in training that increased their knowledge about available services, the process for accessing services and training on assessing behavioral problems and serious emotional disturbances. (FY 10)
