ARCHS' Funding Partner: Missouri Department of Social Services (targeted funding to augment additional funding provided by service delivery partner).
Goal: Avert adoption disruption; promote family well being and recruiting adoptive parents. Focus on support groups for youth, respite care, educational services, crisis intervention and mental health services.
ARCHS' Service Delivery Partner: Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition
Key Results to Date: 148 adoptive families participated in activities that included parent to parent network programs, educational advocacy workshops and respite care activities. 130 educators, case-managers and other professionals attended Educate Educators Workshops to gain knowledge on meeting the unique needs of children in foster care (FY 10).
