ARCHS' Executive Vice-President Steve BrawleyThe ARCHS' "Getting Down to Business With Social Networking" presentation was held in September 2010 at the St. Louis Public Library. Nearly 40 area not-for-profit staff and volunteers attended the presentation and received tips on how to advance their not-for-profit's social mission and business strategies.

ARCHS' Chief Executive Officer Wendell E. Kimbrough, Executive Vice-President Steven Brawley, Director of IT Partnerships Eric Monroe and Communications Specialist Justin Gibson explained how ARCHS utilizes social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

The free event was co-sponsored by ARCHS and the St. Louis Public Library Grants and Foundations Center.

To help share ideas on reentry programs, the ARCHS' “Building Nonprofit Partnerships in St. Louis: Prisoner Reentry Services” presentation was held in January 2010 at the St. Louis Public Library. Dozens of reentry partners from the area gathered to learn from one another on ways local nonprofits can work together to find and build resources for ex-offenders.

Whether it was nonprofits already in existence or ones looking to form in the near future, ideas were shared with one another on reentry topics.
